Warm-ups

With fanart!

Everyone should read Eyeshield 21. Eyeshield is great. <3

In between everything else I'm up to at the moment, I'm trying to find the time to rework my 2011-24 Hour Comic, Flatland. We'll see how it goes - hopefully, I'll be able to start working on the pages soon.

More warmups

Mini-sketchdump of the warmups for the last few days, along with a sketch for my latest watercolour painting.

Been sort of on a birds-are-fascinating-kick lately, so here's a barn owl:

Feb. 10 - warmup

My sorely neglected characters - The Gentlemen Birds. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with them (besides obviously drawing them) but we'll see.

För er svenskar som läser det här - Stafettserien rider igen!. Kepskrigare, räkmackor, explosioner, enhörningar och kampen mellan ont och... mindre ont!

Feb. 9th warmup

More FF-girls! Because when it comes to being badass, General Beatrix is hard to beat.

Warm-ups

Since a friend of mine decided to draw Terra from Final Fantasy VI, I decided I had to draw one of my favourite FF-girls.

And that's Faris, because girls crossdressing as pirate captains well enough to fool the boys into gender-confused crushes is awesome.

Also Auga, because the idea of a golem playing cat's cradle is one that will amuse me for a long time. I think I've already posted another version on the blog.

Only a small post today - I think I'll post my warm-ups as I go along like this.

Warm-ups

Have taken up a new habit this past week - before I start working on the day's to-do-list (inking/lettering comics, working on bigger paintings, etc.), I do a short warm-up.

It's all sketchy and unfinished or lacking a background, or just really simple, but it's good exercise either way.

This is what I've made over the last few days:

And I also did this - because this is what I've looked like for most of the day. Except I'm not sitting in a grey void:
